MOSCOW, September 28 (RIA Novosti) - The international community could still tighten sanctions against Iran, a senior member of the Russian parliament said on Monday.
Unidentified gunmen shot dead the police chief and three policemen from the capital of Russia"s volatile North Caucasus republic of Dagestan on Friday, a police spokesman told RIA Novosti.
Russia on Thursday threw its weight behind the provisional Kyrgyz government, which took power in the capital and several regions of the ex-Soviet Central Asian state after two days of violent protests in which 74 people died and more than 500 were injured.
