Tenth seed Davydenko, who is the only Russian male player left in the tournament, dispatched Stanislas Wawrinka (17) from Switzerland in four sets 6:3, 4:6, 6:3, 6:2 to set up a fourth round head-to-head with eighth seed Fernando Verdasco from Spain.
