The head of the city"s wild animal shelter said earlier on Friday the lynx which reportedly belonged to a private zoo was caught using a lasso by the center"s employees when local residents called the police.
"They [the animal"s owners] were walking it on a leash. The lynx broke free and ran away," the spokesman said.
